Default mahle power pack pistons?

has anyone ever used these and made some higher numbers? i picked up a set couldn't pass up the deal and they are perfect for my 370ci motor but not sure if they will handle higher numbers under boost.

Are they meant for boost or compression? I assume boost. If they are forged pistons they should be able to handle a fair amount given what their application is for.

Make sure you get the correct size....I had a brand new set get ruined because the machine shop didn't set them up with the right PTW clearance.

You may want to find out what CR those piston are. Are there any engravings or casting numbers on them? Check with Mahle as well.

with the right ring set and a spot on tune they will take quite a bit but they are still 4032 high silicone verses something made out of 2618. hit up someone more knowledgeable like hke or a reputable engine builder to the right > and see what they say.

These pistons will handle 800-900 horsepower easy. Just remember nothing will deal with detonation well.

I run those mahle's in my 370. It's nitrous instead of boost, but they're holding up great with ~700rwhp so far.....
