Default corvette ls1 with camaro t56

i recently purchased a 00' corvette ls1, and i plan on purchasing a 00' camaro t56.

will these bolt up/together without a problem? anything need to be modified? all of the threads i am reading have conflicting information.

also, the LS1 i have was on an automatic car. anything special need to be done to the ls1 for the flywheel installation?

thanks

It should bolt right together..theres nothing different or special about the bolt pattern of the blocks, crankshaft, etc. Are you using the vette oil pan? Just be sure to install a pilot bearing in the back of the crank...

The pilot bearing is just the small bearing that sits in the center of the crank at the end of it (where the flywheel is basically). The transmission input shaft slides into the center of the pilot bearing.

This article shows it for a T56
