Default Where does your clutch engage in relation to pedal travel

Just a random question here for you all. I have 400 miles on my monster stage 3 break-in. I love the clutch and chatter is starting to go away also. I have noticed that my clutch engages with the pedal almost all the way up off the floor. Is this normal? I have a tick master and I assume I can adjust that down a little? I had the master before the new clutch install and didn't mess with it much afterwards since it seems to be shifting just fine.

Just looking for what everyone is experiencing. Thanks.

You can adjust it alot with the Tick MC. Mine was engaging very close to the floor after my clutch swap but it was dragging so I adjusted it out until I found the lowest point that I could where it was no longer dragging. This is maybe at the 1/2 way down point.

Thanks for the response. Mine is engaging almost all the way off the floor. At the very top of the pedal travel coming from the floor. Just thought this was a little strange.

its normal for that to happen with a new setup. you wear in any the high spots, so the release point moves.
i take the car around the block and after the 1st few miles set the pedal to a good spot, and see if it moves agian in the next 25-100 miles and adjust as needed. did you notice it move at all in the 1st few miles

Yeah it gradually seemed to move up a little. It feels fine but once the clutch grabs the pedal is close to being all the way released.

ya, lower it so you have some free travel at the top.
to high the clutch can not fully release and wear out very fast.
