Probably an air release on the chute.. button on the wheel.

That's why I don't have a quick release steering wheel, lol. Glad nothing went wrong.

Car runs hard! Talk about a pucker factor at the end though!

This was our very first pass off the trailer with the new setup. Its been almost 8 months since I have been behind the wheel so I did not do my normal pull on the wheel before I launched b/c I was just excited to make a lick(brain fart). I got the alignment done that morning and I guess they didnt click it all the way back on. Anyway, I thought I would share this with everyone. We can laugh about it now since the car is still in one piece.

The chute is launched from C02 off a button on the steering wheel. You can see me push it as soon as the wheel falls off.

Everyone will see the times at the Holley LS race next month. =P

Beautifully smooth and straight launch. Should be a title contender (again).

Good thing you put that nitro pill under your tongue just before you got into the car - that had 'Heart-Attack Pass' written all over it! Unbelievable! There ain't no doubt I woulda crapped all over myself!
