Default Wheel opinion. NEED SUGGESTIONS!!!

Ok guys I ran across a set of C5 Corvette Wagon wheels for $100!!! They are in great shape and silver. I can get them painted black for real cheap. Opinions on what you guys think about them on a 2001 White Trans Am. All suggestion greatly appreciated. By the way I am running stock 16s!

Not the best looking wheels IMO, but they'll look better than the stock 16's, that's for sure. Of course now you need to buy bigger tires too.

Unless you desperately need new wheels, I'd keep looking...you're better off finding a set that has tires already mounted on them, you get more for your money that way.

2 years ago I scored a set of WS6 Speedlines for 550 with good Michelins on them that lasted me almost 2 years. WAY better deal than if I had bought the wheels, then had to lay down another 6-$700 (or more) on tires for them.

I agree with you guys. But I havent seen them much in black yet. Anyone got any pics of them in black or matte black?? Not in need of wheels, just a cheap buy thats all. Thanks for the suggestions though. Still would like to see some good pics of them black.

Default wheels

thanks for the inpit guys! Got another deal though. This morning I came across a great set of C5 Z06 wheels for $400. They are the dark gray ones. I did buy them so no more wagon wheel. But I am wanting to paint them matte black and I am thinking about putting on a white tuner stripe. Again this a white Trans Am. Thoughts on the matte black Z06 wheels with a white tuner stripe????

Eh, I dunno. Considering how flat the C5 Z's are and what little lip they have, I think the white would just make it look like you had whitewall tires at first glance.

Personally I would have kept looking...C5Z's do T/A's ZERO justice IMO.
