No, you can't get it deferred if it's 25mph or more over the speed limit. You are lucky you didn't get taken in for the night or have your car impounded.

It depends on the JoP in you area or precinct. Im not even goin to post what Ive had defered but lets just say Im on deferal til Sept. I did have one JoP that refused deferal for 72 in 50 WTH??? Needless to say in the last year 4 diferent areas all had diferent outcomes for anything over 100 mph. Good luck There are other criteria, and the court has the final decision on whether you'll be permitted to dismiss the ticket by completing a driving safety course.

Give it to an attorney and hope for the best. You will not be walking in, asking for it, and getting it by yourself. Good luck.

+1 for lawyer - call a few or find one that someone has used before.

I tried to defer a 100+ ticket one time and they laughed.

My lawyer got a 112 in a 70 reduced to a parking violation. It all depends on the court.

I don't think you can get deffered b/c 25 over is considered reckless driving.
