E85 and the LT1?

E85 and the LT1?
So i have been reading up on E85. I have read "how to run your LS1 on E85". Whats the differences between the LS1 and LT1? What do we have to do to run it? Can someone point me in the right direction please?

For a nearly stock car, put in bigger injectors, fill up with E85, and tune it...
For a more modified car, say up to 450 RWHP, you need a Walbro 255 fuel pump, bigger injectors, tune, and a wideband is highly recommended.
For applications ABOVE 450 RWHP, you need 2 walbro pumps in the tank, or some other kind of high volume pump, and all of the above...
I'm getting ready to switch myself and have done / doing a lot of research etc, kgern and wicked94z on here run it too. Hit us up with any more specific questions you run across.

its stock for now, but i foresee a couple turbos in my future lol. Sooooo......tuning wise, what should i buy? Or should i just drop it off at a shop? What do i change? The Stoich and AFR? is the LT1 9.79 like the LS1?

I would also HIGHLY suggest a wideband. Not as much for closed loop, because as gregrob said, tune the injector constant to get it running and for everyday driving, but rather for WOT. You want to run about .78-.80 lambda WOT for power on E85, which will read 11.46-11.76 on a wideband displaying gasoline A/F 'number'. With a stock car, you will need at least 30# injectors for STOCK, and FULL bolt-on's you may also up the fuel pressure as well. With just bolt-on's and 1.7RR with 30# SVO's on stock fuel pressure I had 322rwhp/341rwtq, and was hitting 100% DC around 5200 RPM at about .81-.82 lambda. I would go 1 step colder on the plugs than for gas, and change your fuel filter after about first 2 fill ups, because the ethanol will clean out your fuel system and may cause some extra gunk to get in the filter. Invest in DataMaster and TunerCat as well because you will have to do a lot of logging/tuning/logging, etc to get the injector constant and BLM's right.
This should get you started on E85 for a stock LT1. As far as power, with the 10.4 stock SCR you probably won't gain as much as say running 12+ SCR, but if you plan on running boost later, that's when running E85 can REALLY get fun, as you can run more compression, boost, and timing than you can with gas and that's where the big gains on E85 really come in.

ok wow thank you guys for so much good information!!! A few more Q's:
1) Wideband controllers, whats the best one? Where do i get it? Is there a complete guide or how to anywhere? I have a general idea but i like to read as much as humanly possible on anything im considering.
2) Once i convert to E85, can i still put gas in any time i want to? I mean what if i want to on a road trip or out of town or anything, and i find myself out of range from an E85 pump. What would i do? Can i install a bigger gas tank lol.

I would say... tune a spare pcm with a pump gas tune in case you get stuck. Hell it wouldn't have to be perfect, just dial back fuel out of the e85 tune. Forced induction on E85 will DRINK fuel, once you start making 600+hp you're going to be spending a lot of money on a fuel system. I got about 15mpg freeway when i had a 6 speed in the car, that was running ~1.03 lambda, 4.71 gears with 28" tires. It got about 18 on pump gas before I switched. With the current auto... probably 7-8 mpg around town and 10-12 on the freeway. Don't get me wrong you can do great things with this fuel that normally would cost you 15 bucks a gallon for c12
