Default My New "mufflex like" custom catback

This is about the 500th exhaust setup I've had since owning this car lol. Previous to this was LT's, ory, dynomax bullet dumped. It sounded good and was not too loud inside until the engine rebuild, then it got obnoxious! Sounded mean outside but not tolerable inside for a DD.

So I had my old over-the-axle tubing put back on and added a 2nd dynomax bullet in the back and a "mufflex style" hideaway tailpipe. I know it's not mandrel bent but IDC, it serves it purpose the same way.

It is now much quieter inside with a nice rumble. You can actually hear the radio now. Outside it is much deeper sounding. WOT is still loud just how it's suppose to be!

video will be posted tomorrow..photobucket is being slow.

That's how I have my 3inch powerstick routed. I really love the clean look and you're right, it is nice deep, not as loud in the cab but still great sounding all around. I really like your setup!

I will be sure to upload my video when I get home from work. I can't tell any loss in performance. The bullets are a straight thru design.

I run two actually. A classic chambered in my "I" pipe and a hooker aerochamber out back.. sounds perfect!

What do you guys think my current setup would sound like over the axle? I would just dump it i think. So it would be the lt's no cats just a 3" ory to the 3" I pipe and the moroso spiral flow dumped. I just want it a little quieter or my wife lol. What muffler would sound good if I dont use the moroso? I thinking single in single out 3".

u would have to run it over the axle to be quieter inside. That's reason I did mine..the turndown just got to be too loud inside.

ITs very tolerable. Cruising around to around 3k its very mellow. when i get on it tho it opens up just enough. I might toy with the idea of putting a resonator in line (if i can fit it) just to see if i can get it to be alittle more sleeperish
