Default Need Help.

I replaced my clutch with a zoom kit that included slave cylinder and pilot bearing. My problem is now I have fluid leaking under the car and the clutch lets out at the very bottom, and after about 30 mins of driving i have to pump the clutch several times just to get into gears. we replaced the rear main seal as well but my oil level is not low so I dont think that is leaking. Does this sound like a slave leaking down? Any help will be great.

Defiantly sounds like a leaking slave cylinder. Could be leaking from the hydraulic line going to the slave, or the bleeder valve. Or it could even be comming from the slave itself. You have checked your clutch reservoir?

You need to do a process of elimination here. What fluid is leaking? What color is it? Clearish=brake fluid used as clutch fluid. Redish=probably transmission fluid. Oil=oil

Well you only have one option, pull the transmission. Its gotta be that slave leaking.

Thats what I was thinking, either way the tranny has to come down, even if its the rear main leaking.

I have heard everything from zoom being an awesome clutch, to it being a stock replacement. I mean you get that with every product on the market. But if it was one clutch that I have not heard to many bad things about, it would be without a doubt a Monster clutch. Getting mine installed this weekend, so I cant tell you and personal experiences. Whats your cars future looking like? Any drag racing? Or is this a street car?

well I got the Zoom kit because I got a great price and it said it can hold more than stock. I am just running a cruiser, with the occasional drag.

Update: took the tranny down and replaced the slave with a GM slave. Now its hard in and out of gear. With the pedal on the floor the car will barley go into gear and will begin to shake and crawl forward. I have bleed the living **** out of the system. went and bought and new master and installed and bleed and still have it. any ideas?
