Lifter Tapping

Lifter Tapping
Last winter I noticed that I had a lifter tapping. It's been 9 months or so and it hasn't improved or gotten worse. My question is this; should I be OK to do a cam swap? I don't have the $ to do the heads (with lifters) right now and wanted to know some opinions. My motor has 93, XXX miles on it and is otherwise great. Thanks.

I had a lifter ticking, car ran great! Oil pressure was good. Turned out to be this:
If you're planning to do a cam swap, Just save up another $140, call up Texas-Speed, and order some of these:

OK, you guys have me curious. I just cammed my LS6 and can't imagine being able to pull it without removing the lifters. I've built tuned ports & LT1s in the past and obviously you can raise the lifters from under the intake. Not really an option on these engines though...
