ls1 lid conversion completed
Just finished my conversion to the LS1 lid setup! Initial seat of the pants is the car feels different compared to the Moroso, feels like it's pulling harder. Going to try to go to GLD tomorrow to see what it runs .
When i researched doing this seems people had to hack up the lower airbox. The hacking I did was around the two inner bolts that we don't use and opening up the full airbox from below. I didn't have to hack too much on the bottom to get it to lay flat. overall not too hard and not too time consuming! Used the fernco 3" to 3" from home depot. Also had to separate the wire look a little to get the IAT harness to reach over to the other side. Also, the MAF harness was a little tight, so I rotated the MAF around a bit so that there is a little slack in the wiring.

looks good, im gettins the parts together to do mine. if its 2 tenths over the moroso, wonder what it will be over the pos ebay short ram i have . seems like a smarter and cheaper way to go rather then a moroso or lingenfelter CAI.
