Default dying GTO :(

I need some help guys... my GTO was working like a dream, but some genius, disconnected the hose in the picture for i dont know how long and now my GTO has a check engine light on and whenever i make a stop, it struggles to regulate its rpm (the rpm needle drops from 1000 to 500 and back again to 1000 and drops to 300 and so on and so forth.

Any idea why this happened? did my tune erase?

ive got a cam and tune...

Step away for the car. Don't touch it. Don't ever take it back to the idiot that disconnected the hose. Go buy a WRX STi. As you get older, think on the meaning of life and when doing so, consider the effects of a direct vacum leak on a motor and engine. Consider where the tube on the intake led to, where it came from, and what it would suck into the engine if left open to the outside. JMHO. When all the nasty remarks are through, consider rehooking the hose immediately and watch you car smooth out and drive like new.

Is your engine running ok now that you have that vacuum leak fixed?
Maybe also inspect that hose and make sure it dosent have any splits or cracks in it.
Your tune should still be fine. The car just ran leaner than normal while the hose was unplugged. Did you have any service performed on the car recently where someone could have forgotten to re-install that hose?
You may want to also consider a Oil Catch Can in the future.

If the bottom plate of the FAST is broken you can either patch it yourself or just buy the bottom half from FAST.

Sounds like a vacuum leak somewhere. I had a similar problem and it turned out to be a cracked intake manifold.

gotta hate the butchers in this world. Mate if its not running righ take it to a PROPER workshop asap if you dont feel upto the task of tackling it. In all honesty though it only takes about 5 minutes to remove an LS1 intake when im feeling lazy. if you are gonna tackle it send me a PM ill give u a step by step.
