503 for stock r slightly worked heads
306 for aftermarket and balnced block(to gain full potential)
have had both and otheres. the 503 will be perfect for every day driving and stock heads where the 306 is sick with heads and a good balanced block since it revs around 6600+ rpm

I prefer an unbalnced block. The potential engernies stored to make kenetic engerny stored in teh wheels at certain rpm's cintrigugal forces are greater causing the car to lurch forwards that will yeild betters elapsed ET's.

im just gonna say this...sometimes people who say they want a cam to run with stock heads, mean they are new to the cam side of things, and they want to leave the heads on the car and not dig to deep into the engine. Other people who want cam only cars, want something cheaper then a head/cam setup, nets a good result and good gain, maybe take a risk with a new camshaft and possibly want to show how far you can take a stock headed car.
Im going to guess this guy is the first i described. If im guessing right, I would do the CC503 cam. Its a user friendly camshaft. You can get mail order tunes that are almost spot on. Run 12 second 1/4's, And driveability is tried and tested to be great. Sometimes "thinking outside the box" and trying some new, isnt for everyone. But, being the first to try a certain setup, is always a great feeling.
And also If your the later that i described, you probably wouldnt make this post
