Default recall

Ok guys I know its on here somewhere I just can't find it right now. I just got the recall paper in the mail today about the power steering line but it does not say what line it is or what? Can anyone tell me what one it is? I have already replaced a ps line and want to make sure it is the same one in the recall. I would really appreciate the help

It's the high pressure line that runs between the back of the motor and the firewall.

I ran your vin and it actually still shows that as being open. Not sure why they would have told you your vehicle was not covered.

It means you're eligible and have not had the work done. I would call the dealer back and talk to the service manager. If that fails, try another dealer or contact Chevrolet Customer Service.

Exactly. With the V6 model cars the recall only involved replaces a small section of rubber hose and two clamps. The V8 recall was the entire section of pipe.

Check your alignment when they are done. They have to drop the cradle with then fix it and it could **** your alignment.

My service manager printed out the recall instructions for me after my car had been fixed. Hope this helps. The pictures are in reverse order, so read from bottom to top.

I also work at a GM dealership, ran the VIN through the system and it pops up with any recalls that are still applicable.
