I'm gonna guess it's because of fitment/clearance issues. Trucks have a lot more space under the hood for a supercharger. We just don't have that kind of room. We barely have room for a small turbo. I'm sure someone would have already gone the s/c route if it was possible.

Nope,Kenne Bell won't ever make a S/C for another FWD platform after there experience with a PT Cruiser.I spoke with the owner son about loaning my car, they said if they were to do it his father owns an 06 Imp SS,but don't plan on doing any FWD S/C.There located in Rancho Cucamonga ,CA about 5 min away from my job.I've already spoke with them on this and they said the PT Cruiser had TOO much torque steer which made it a walkin death trap.

Question for you ,how much traction do you get right now with the mods you have?Think this is direct power to the wheels, which means no traction and a whole lot of torque steer...Clearence isn't the only problem, the problem we have is traction

Right on,after the first header group buy I thought about doing a group buy on the S/C.But they told me NO,that they would never do another FWD platform (4 banger,v-6,v-8)...

I hate how the base their choice on the freakin' PT Cruiser...

They make things called radials and slicks.

i wouldnt support any forced air power adders because mines a daily driver and i like to keep the gas mileage ....

anyways, i dont like doing launches as it is, i like 30-40 rolls anyways ... there is only really one highway around here that you can find stoplights with speed limits near 50 MPH ... other than that ... no way am i getting pulled over for drag racing from lights in Illinois ...

You should give them a call to see what excuse they give you,**** they might base it on the 3800 S/C if that makes a difference.

just as an FYI, power adders don't really use more gas if you keep your foot out of it.

In my opinion that's a pretty dumb reason for not manufacturing a part that's in demand, if that is in fact the true reason. I would think it's more because of the low production numbers for LS4 vehicles. There are plenty of FWD cars out there that torque steer but still have aftermarket support.

A positive displacement supercharger like a KB would demand more fuel at all RPMs and load though wouldn't it?
