Default What is this connector for???

I am finishing up installing my LS6 intake and have this connector left over what is it for? Is it for the EGR? It was already off when I got the car and i don't remember seeing a connector just hanging. Thanks in advance for your help.

Make sure that wire doesn't contact the block. It will spark and drain your battery or damage the ECM. I would recommend wrapping it up with electrical tape and using a cable strap to double it back and secure it to the harness.

I wonder if it would be doable to trace the line all the way back to the solenoids, relays or PCM and disconnect it there. If one was so inclined.

Pull the PCM pins then. Same effect as taping it back

done this along with removing un-needed wires throughout the whole car for a drag setup. chasing wires in the engine bay is doable but isnt easy
