Default exhaust loudness with new cam

i have swapped cams in older 2nd gen camaros many time in the past. I have always ran wide open exhaust so loud was loud. I just did my first LS1 cam swap. I am not talking about the cam thump or cam lope but will the new cam actually make my exhaust louder. I am running headers and a Borla with the smallest baffle installed. I swap out baffles occasionally according to my mood or cruise in I am attending. I swear that running the smallest baffle now sounds as loud as almost no baffle and the last baffle before wide open now sounds like wide open.
I have a 2001 T/A LS1 6 speed.
the cam is a comp cam 224/230 duration 581/592 lift 114 LSA did comps beehive springs and pushrods and scorpion roller rockers

That is what I figured. And I like the way you put it "more fire in the hole"
Thanks

Motor mods make a huge difference in the exhaust sound volume on these cars. This is one reason why it's difficult to give or get advice on exhaust systems for them.
