Default Whats the story on these headers

Are these headers worth a ****. They are chrome, but they look more like midlength headers and not LT's. Not sure how chrome holds up as far as headers go, but seems like a decent price considering it comes with the Y-pipe.
I have been wrong before though. Are these a go or a no-go?

It says at the bottom its for mustang, but I verified the pt.# on BBK's website.

Here is the link-http://www.summitracing.com/parts/BBK-1694/

Those are badass, its the full length exhaust, Lt Headers to a 2.5 in" ypipe. I would get that if i didnt already have something else.

They are indeed lt's a few people run them including myself and to be honest they are a great piece. Mine went in with NO modification didnt unbolt the steering knuckle grind the k member dent the headers etc, mine slid right in just over a yr now and they are holding up great but then again they dont salt the roads for snow in florida

Looks nice, that description on their website is a little sketch though. Says the headers and y-pipe will "help your late model Mustang produce an extra 15 to 20 hp." It says at the top that it's for an LS1 but they still market to mustangs

I noticed that too, but I would assume that they were just being lazy or forgot to change the description when they marketed them for different cars...

The BBK TB I had on my old LT1 car was a very solid looking piece of equipment and was nice so I would trust their quality...

Anyone have any results from them???(dyno or track)

If these are worth it then I will be going with them... Hard to pass up on a set of headers and Y for less than 400 bucks! Especially if they fit well... I was planning on spending a bit over 6 but now it looks like I'll be hooking this Y up to the SLP setup the car has now...

Thanks for bringing these up to the forum. First time I've seen them... Then again, I've been outta the loop for a few years now and am working my way back in to the scene slowly haha

Yeah I noticed the say for mustangs, but according to bbk's website they are for LS1. I will prolly buy these, hard to beat the price. Just wondered if chrome was really any better about rusting than the painted types. Hope they don't run out of them before tax time. I also thought they looked a little shorter than pacesetter LT's, but it could just be the pic or my imagination.

Looks like a GREAT deal to me. Can't beat that for LT and y pipe, the y merge looks good also.

Are they on a special sale or something right now at that price? If so then I will have to pony up quick!

And yeah, I thought they looked to be a bit shorter than a standard length longtube... I wonder what the collecter diameter is??? Checked the site and all it says is that they are 1 3/4" tubing.

We move quite a few sets of those through here. We don't have any problems, and the price is hard to beat! We can sell them at the same price they list with no problems, just call me (Jesse) or John and we can get you set up!

So these are prolly the best "bang for the buck" headers. Not the pacesetters like everybody says. I would assume they give as much HP as others.

I would have to agree so long as there is no design shortcuts. Seems like a no brainer to me on these. They should hook right up to the factory SLP system on the SS so I'm thinking this is the way to go...

There is a pretty long thread on these headers including a guy who was the test subject for their headers. Search around for it, lots of good info on the BBK;s
