Default Going to juice up my SS, need some advice!

MY 99 SS is currently running an ARE stage 2 head/cam package with 414 RWHP through a Moser 12 bolt with 4.10s and FULL weight(w/ chrome AFS ZR1 17x11s and 315 BFGs...HEAVY). I want to run a TnT F1 kit. I have listed all my mods below:
ARE stage 2 H/C
LS6 intake
ported TB
SLP 85 mm MAF
SLP CAI
Free-mods
NGK-TR55 plugs
Whisper air lid w/ K&N filter
ARE ported oil pump
SVO 30lb injectors
Grottyohann 1 3/4 headers w/ 3 inch y-pipe, w/o cats
SLP Loudmouth catback
RAM 6130/402 VDS clutch
Moser 12 bolt w/ 33 spline axles, HD Eaton posi, TA cover, and 4.10s
BMr tubular SFCs and LCAs
Fastchips(Ed Wright) tuning...28 degrees timing WOT, 0 knock

I know I have to change my clutch from the 6130 disk to a 910 so it won't melt to the flywheel. I also know I have to swap in NGK tr6 plugs. What else do I have to do? I would expect to run TnT 100 shot, maybe 150 occasionally, but I would think the 100 would be sufficient. I was wondering about the fuel pump set-up; will I need to upgrade? Racetronix hasn't finished their 99-up Ls1 set-up yet.

if all you want to do is a 100 shot, the nos dry kit is about the easiest and most reliable kit there is, otherwise you should just DP that animal

I just installed an F1 kit about 6 months ago. The kits awesome. Other than the tr6's and changing the clutch disk I would put a walbro intake pump or equivalent. It's really easy to install. Also get a window switch, bottle heater, and a purge. I didnt go with a purge kit at first and you can definately feel the delay. The bottle heater I have is an NOS its pretty cheap and helps make all the hits feel as good as they did when the bottle was 100% full. A window switch is a must and this regulates what rpm's the nitrouds system turns on and off at. I have mine starting at 3200 RPM and shutting off at 6200. Let em know if you have any questions me and two friends installed the kit and made our own custom wiring harness and made everything quick disconnect for easy testing and replacement of parts. Just shoot me a PM if you need help.

Is the pump hard to install since Racetronix doesn't have a bolt-in kit yet? Aslo, will I have to reduce my timing at all?

I plan to pull my trans out and send it to D7D Performance for a complete rebuild and upgrade. While the trans is gone I am goning to swap in the 910 disk. I guess at that point the fuel pump will get done to. I do remember seeing posts about cutting a door in the sheet metal just above the tank; that would be A LOT easier then dropping the tank, right? Modifying the stock fuel pick-up to except the Walboro pump makes me VERY nervous. I wonder if I pull the pump assembly and send it to Racetronix or ARE if they can do the proper modifications and send it back, then all I have to do is drop it in.

thats what I did on the faked SS is cut an access panel just above the tank.so anytime you can get to it without a hassle.if you feel that way send it off.I run a walbro on the 35th also but no access panel above the tank.so far both pumps on the cars okay with no problem.but if it acts up on the 35th will cut the access hole.good luck.

Hey, thanks man! Looks like I may try this myself. I sent an email off to Racetronix last night to see how much they would charge to do the swap for me then I would re-install. Hopefully they'll get back to me.

There is a good write-up with pictures on the install AND cutting an access panel in the rear deck. I think I will cut the access panel and pull out the pump/sender assembly and go from there. If I feel a bit over-whelmed then I'll send it out, but at least with the access panel I can get to it easily w/o dropping the axle and fuel tank.
