most g body guys will use -6 which translates to 3/8 and keep it the same for the whole send. it's pretty easy to get everybody to mate up that way. -8 send and -6 return is the next step up especially for turbo. right now i have -6 aluminum send and return with an on the regulator and fuel rail side on my lq4 turbo regal. maybe lonnie or nate will chime in

I ran -8 (which was overkill) both feed and return. I can't remember why, but I read many places that sited the reason why you should match return and feed sizes. I know for my large pump, the larger size (-6 or -8) does not hurt.

I ran -6 from the pump to the corvette filter/regulator, then to the fuel rail. I ran -5 for the return off the filter/regulator, its mounted right next to the fuel tank. Engine is n/a lq4.
