Textralia OZ700 Series Z- Grip Clutch......NEED some advice

Default Textralia OZ700 Series Z- Grip Clutch......NEED some advice

Hey guys I got 99 Camaro SS i want to get a new clutch, car is stock and not going to do anything to it i juat want a very good clutch cuz i just bought the car and the person before me put a new one in and didnt install it right and just want to replace it.

I was looking at this one: Textralia OZ700 Series Z- Grip Clutch & Billet Steel
Flywheel

is this a good one? and also what else do i need to get with it? the website has some options so should i just get all the options and the clutch, this is what the options are:

-ARP Pro Series Flywheel Bolt Kit
-GM Clutch Slave Cylinder
-GM Flywheel Bolt Kit
-GM Hydaulic Clutch Main Cylinder
-GM LS1 Pilot Bearing
-GM LS2 Pilot Bearing

I use the Z grip, perfectly streetable/driveable. As described by Textralia is X grips are girls and Z grips are for Boys lol.

Either way its one of the best clutches I have ever owned and doing quite fine going on 3 years later.

I used all the parts supplied for the kit. GM pilot bearing, 02+ Slave, Tick Performance Master Cyl. ( you NEED THIS ). I have had stock and the close to stock RAM adj. which worked but not as well as the Tilton based Tick unit.

Z-grip here w/ the mods listed below. Two thumbs up and highly recommended. Although I do agree the X-grip may be better suited to your application, especially since you say you're planning on staying stock.

If your gonna stay relatively stock I'd go with an ls7 clutch!

Do you HAVE to purchase the flywheel with the textralia clutch? It seems everywhere I look it is only sold as a package. Is buying the clutch only possible?

I would steer clear of the LS7, have heard this doesnt stand up well to moderate abuse.
