You will need the heavy duty 3M double sided tape. You also don't need to drill holes in the valence/bumper

I'm really jealous right now . I found a couple on here for sale but i didn't want to pay $700 plus shipping. I gave in and bought a GMMG. Maybe next year i'll find someone who isn't trying to rape a fellow f-body lover and pick one up

That's the market for them man. Just because you own a F-body like everyone else, they're not going to sell it to you for a steal. Not to mention they don't even know you personally. I had 3 sets. Both were SLP OEM and one I put on my car and the other I sold. Then I sold the 6LE valence and after market tips for pretty much the same price.

All you need is 3M tape from your local hardware store. You could use the wider version of the tape. Mine is an SLP valence and I used a push pin fastner in the rear by the license plate to hold the valence there.

can I use scotch double sided tape? i have a few rolls in my garage.

by the way I just got lucky.I've been in the market for about 2years. I called every craigslist ad that had a camaro with a cme to see if they wanted to swap before the sell +cash. noone wanted too until this guy (friend now) ended calling me back and told me he actually hated the look of the cme. I gave him my gf's shitty 3'' red neck tips and I payed for the swap install (80.00) and we called it even. trust me, I couldnt belive it. I almost payed 600.00 for a cme set up a few months back. it wasnt a coincidence I had to go out there and find it.

use the heavy duty grey colored double sided tape. Its the kind that has the red plastic film you peel off from. Thinner the better so its a tight fit.

What i did was clean the bumper off from any wax, oils etc. place the tape onto the valance, then pre fit the valance to get it to fit how you like, then get some blue painters tape to hold it in place ( a extra pair of hands will help) once you find your ideal mounting position, start peeling off the red film while the valance is STILL in the final mounting position. IF needed for added support, drill and put some finishing screws on the ends near the tire.
