Couldn't of hit the nail better on the head 00Chevyscott. I speak from expirence and the HTC Evo is vastly superior than that call dropping pos At&t Iphone 4. I pre ordered my Iphone-4 and within 1 week had over 15 dropped calls. That was in the houston area, wtf !

I have a Captivate and I love it! A friend of mine has an iPhone 4 and we've swapped phones and messed around with them both and neither of us has found any complaint with either phone. I spent like a week going back and forth between the two at the AT&T store, but went ahead with the Captivate because I could get a better deal on it. Just go to the AT&T store and check out what they have!

My drop calls only lasted a few weeks, whichever update was released around that time period fixed it (few months ago).
Now, I have no problems with my iphone4. My co-worker just had to have sprint replace the battery in his Evo. He would have 100% at 7:00am and by 10:00am with no use but simply sitting at his desk it would drop to 50%. This happened daily and started happening a few weeks after he bought it.
Point: Every phone has its quirks along with its company.....

I had a 3G and liked it... I now have a 4, and love it. I drop calls occasionally, and it is irritating, but I'll drop a call here and there to have all the other functionality of the phone. That little green "Call back" button is pretty handy.

Both good phones...its just a matter of opinion and your location (reception). I have an evo and loved it, then my girlfriend got a Samsung Epic and that thing blows the evo outta the water...ran a screen test and the evo is 28 frames per second and the epic is 57! So if you are into games, epic FTW...otherwise evo=iPhone
