best mod to my DD for sure!
saw a write up on this and had some free time today and decided to do it... it was pretty easy just hard to splice those small as wires... anyways it came out really good and could not be happier, sound quality is perfect and i have not distortion or backround noise. just want to share cause im pretty excited. i know aftermarket radios have these already but i honestly think most aftermarket radios are ugly and that just attracts theifs to break into your ****, so here is a pic, it looks stock to be honest with you.

Looks good. I got an aftermarket CD player in mine with that port built in and has a spot in the back of the CD player to hook up the wires for an iPod/iPhone. But I had to get a CD player cause for Maine reason or another, my Camaro came with a cassette player and that had to go.

Looks good, I also did it in my camaro, definitely one of the better mods to do. Nice being able to have all your music in one place, instead of a million cds.

i have no idea... i imagine if the rado's had the same kind of format as mine then you could just follow the write up... it is def nice having all the music in one place, i have had a radio transmitter before but they all suck!

Yeah ^^^^ hes right. For stock radios some places sell a kit to to plug in but its like $80... The way i did it is take the bottom case off the radio cut two wires connect r wires and ran the wire behind the dash and drilled that hole right to the left of my air bag switch... So when i want to listen to my ipod i just get my both male end cord and plug it into my ipod and that jack (its a relay with a 1/8 jack) and listen to my ipod... Only thing is you have to have a cd in and play the cd, and when you plug the ipod in the relay switches and the ipod signal goes through the radio, its not too complicated when i get off of work ill find the write up, but its in the texas section too right now, the thread title is "i can now listen to my ipod" or something like that and then there is the link to the write up in there
