Default Auto Meter clock in center console...

Has anyone made a gauge pod to fit in the little cubby hole thing infront of the shifter on an ls1 center console? I think an auto meter clock would look cool in there, any opinions?

Location would be cool, however I would find a more function meter, rather than a clock.

I installed a trans temp guage in my buddys 02. It will fit. You need to buy a blank from GM( if they still make them) or send mark a email at 6le for a blank.

As far as functionality - I already have 3 in my vents: Boost, Fuel pressure and oil temp (boosted car) i don't like the look of gauges all over the car, but this one might be cool...just looking for opinions.

Do you know what I mean? I'm just not sure how it would look. Wonder if anyone out there can photochop one in there for me? Just don't want to do it, just to do it...but i'm bored and want something to do.. Just would like to know how it would look.

The other thing i'm thinking of is switching over to the Phantom gauges. I like the look of the silver, but i want to do the 6LiterDesigns gauge cluster overlay, and their silver doesn't match the autolites. I was thinking of switching over to the white faced gauges...any opinions?

I'll make you a great deal on that clock...I bought a car that had one, it has never been used & I have no use for it.

I think a rectangle Dakota Digital gauge or the like would go better with the corresponding lines of the console.

That would be the one i would go with...I am just toying with the idea of putting a clock there. I don't need another "functional" gauge, it would just be there as something different. I currently have Ultra-Lite silver gauges in at the moment, but am also playing with the idea of switching over to white faced gauges to mimic the interior look of the Dodge Viper - best interior gauges in a car, IMO.
