New Cali member building an LSx stang Whats up guys! I heard about this site from a couple buddy's from PT.net I am in the beginning of building a 88 LX Hatch Mustang with a LSx drivetrain. I plan to redo pretty much the entire car, I picked it up with a perfect body and just a little bit of surface rust.
Im just looking for something to cruise around with and have fun. Im hoping for low 12s or high 11s. Plans are just a stock LQ4 with a Circle D pro stage triple disk 4k stall, if I dont meet my goals then I will cam it and maybe heads.
Me and a couple buddy's started to pull everything out for paint this week. I plan to have it painted here in the next couple weeks. I will be painting her white.
Here are a couple pics.. Will be posting through out the build.

Hang on baby... Great Build !! Stang with an LSX Motor....
That thing should Haul As.. !! That thing would run in the 10's with a stroked LS 402 motor.... easily. Go with a built 4 speed Automatic, Stall converter....& hang on tight when the front wheels lift off the Ground !!

Welcome!! Always look forward to seeing another one of these swaps! Had one myself i bought completed but worked it over some and now the new owner has it in a magazine this month! Good luck with the build!! 
actually if it's got a healthy H/C/I combo and is lightened up a bit it should see 9's all motor!
