Default Opinions AFR or Trickflow heads which ones with my cam??

Guys so I`m looking to get a set of heads for my 2002 TA WS6 the cam is already done and the specs are as follows:

234/238 XE-R Lobed cam

113 LSA +2

.595/.603 GVL

Does that make sense? Its TTP`s V3 Eliminator Cam, I am thinking of going with the Trickflow 215cc Heads. What do you think? With Stock heads now, SLP intake box, SLP smooth bellows I am putting 405 at the rear wheels what do you think my increase will be with these? Or should i go AFR? If so which ones? I am going to stay naturally aspirate for now.

The Trickflow heads never disapoint, I havent seen any results with the AFR 210 yet but I am sure if you called them they would be able to help you optimise your setup

the AFR or TFS should add 40 more hp,also look at the prc 215 heads.a fast intake will add 10 hp more.

This is like Vigilante vs Yank converters, you really can't go wrong with either one. Personal preference.

FAST 102mm intake (with 102 TB) will get you an extra 10-15 RWHP. Not worth the $1500 it's going to cost. Are you going to upsize your injectors? You will need at least some 42lb injectors and a good tune. If you go with an LS2/LS3 block then you will need the bigger intake, until then you might want to look into getting a ported TB or a 80-85mm TB.

People say the cost of this for 10-15hp is not worth it and the lower cost of this heads is only 10hp less, ect. Add it up and you lose 25hp. to me it's worth spending to get the most. Thats why at the track on my old ls1 I was killing people running close to 10's n/a when the rest were behind me.
I loved my AFR heads on my ls1 and i love my trickflow 235 on my 402 now. Either Head the 210 or the 215 from tfs you will get a great product that will perform. my boy has a 383ci with tfs 215 heads that puts down 500hp on a stang dyno through a stock catback.

Honestly, you're going about this backwards. You buy the best heads you can, then get a cam to match the specs of the heads to meet your needs, not vice versa. Think about it, you're basing the purchase of a $2000+ set of heads on a $400 cam. It's like buying a house to fit a bbq grill.

Good luck.
