**HD VIDEO** Fontana/Auto Club Dragway Street Legal Drags - 1/8/2011 Went to Auto Club Dragway yesterday...
Didn't see too many LSX F-bodies there, but I met Moe (Wicked_Muscle)with a low 12 sec car and 'rixsgto' with a low 13 second Dodge Omni GLH (super sick!).
I was experimenting with some camera angles, and here's a quick edit of what I have so far. I'll post up a 'final version' later with the extra footage from the GoPro...
Unfortunately my car went 13.0 @ 111.5 (expecting mid-high 12's @ 113-115 mph) but I still had fun!

Vids of my car, track prep could have been a little bit better, but not bad for a street legal day with no sun all day. 10.1 @ 140

Footage turned out good though.
I was parked next to ya a time or two waiting in the lanes.

Cool vids, i was there too, best i could muster was a 13.0. It was kind of weird seeing a lot of cars hook and then get sideways at the 60' mark(mostly high hp cars with slicks). It was only in the left lane so i stuck to the right all day, not saying i have a high hp car just playing it safe.

Haha well... I wish my mods were "stock with a lid." That would make more sense considering I ran 13.0 @ 111.5.
I bought the car pretty much the way it sits now... 224/224 cam, "stage 2" stock heads by Don Lee Auto, headers. LS7 clutch. Stock 10 bolt rear with 3.42 gears, 315 Nitto NT05 tires. It put 430/400 to the wheels. So right now I'm playing the "where did my horsepower go?" game. With 430 to the wheels, I'd expect more like 115 mph trap speeds.
My hopes are that 4.11 gears will wake up the car... unfortunately I doubt it will wake up the car by 4-5 mph.
Either way, I will be working on my driving, and a 9 inch with 3.90 or 4.11 gears will be going in the car next month.
