has anyone passed ca smog with ls6 cam WITHOUT ANY TUNE? im looking to get a 02+ cam and want to know if it will pass ca BS smog testing with NO TUNE and all emission stuff still on,
or will even the smallest cam not pass without a tune
thanks so muchh for any help
i searched everywhere and i know it will easily pass WITH a tune, local tune shop wants $500 to tune, so its not worth it for a small baby cam

I'd try and make sure its from a Z06 02-04. You won't need a tune for that. Either way, as long as its LS6 factory (NOT hotcam) you should not need a tune to pass even in CA

a member on here and norcal-lsx.com that just bought a crate LS6 engine and is selling the cam and springs for 300 with no miles. better swoop on it before somebody esle does. if u dont have a norcal-lsx.com account u better make one and look at his add in the classifieds.

lol, im usafws6. yea my price is a bit higher than his but for new parts its not bad. glad to hear you got a good deal on the setup though. 99 blue bird, good lookin out.
