Maroon & White T/A Scheme?
I'm a student at Texas A&M University, and upon graduating I'd like to do something to commemorate the time I spent there. I have a '99 Arctic White T/A that is begging to have some appearance mods done to it. Here's a quick 'shop I did of a 30th to get a maroon/white scheme.
Thoughts?
Also, I've seen someone take a black '99 T/A and turn it into a 1 of 1 Bandit/30th Anniversary Edition, badges and all. What does everyone think of making a 1 of 1 Texas A&M/30th Anniversary Edition? Wrong to badge it that way?
As a disclaimer, I have NO intention of trying to pass this car off as an original 30th I never plan on letting it go, so selling it as such is not an option for me.
Any ideas for color changes, additional mods, etc?

I'd go for some chrome rims myself. I think the maroon wheels are pretty tacky, along with the blue 30th annviersary rims. If you're going to do maroon accents, I'd avoid black/gray rims as you are adding another color tone to the car and it can start to look pretty busy(and a Trans Am is kind of busy looking to start with).
I'd also maybe just do maroon badges, maroon blackbird stripes, maroon bird on the front nose, maroon Pontiac letters on the back, and leave it at that. Painted grill inserts are kind of ricey. Maybe a matching maroon Texas A & M logo on the sail panel would look cool I think.
What would look real cool is some custom maroon uplohlstery on the inside. Maybe do maroon inserts on the seats, and a custom Texas A & M embroidery on the headrest. I'd also change the door panel inserts to maroon if you do the seats.

Other options for wheels: graphite w/polished lip (like the Columbia edition Wrangler). I think that a more grey tone would look better than the black like on the CETA wheels.
Or possibly a graphite wheel with a maroon pc'ed lip? Ricey?
I'm starting to agree with AronZ28 about just stock WS.6 sportlines...unless a dark wheel helps tie the scheme together rather than making it too busy. I'll try 'shopping a few more pics.
I really like the 30th stripes. I'm considering finding a shop to do a two-tone graphite stripe with maroon border pin-line (just like the two-tone blues on the original 30th). Maybe a 3-tone maroon/graphite/silver mix feather stripes on the side like on the CETA?
I'm already set on how I'd like to do the interior, it's just a matter of saving the money to pay for everything
Maroon badges and custom sail panel (Aggie seal) are already in order. Still wondering about using maroon 30th badges though. Bad idea?

I like it. At first I didn't know when I seen the title to the thread but after seeing the wheels, I really like it. Atleast some one is stepping out of the box or atleast thinking.

thanks for the input on the wheels. keep 'em coming. this is helping me a good bit on deciding.
with that in mind, here are a couple of rough 'shops i've done for stripe schemes. i realize this could depend greatly on the wheels (or vice versa), but maybe throw in your opinions on this too? maybe suggest which wheels pair/match which stripes?
thanks, all.

I like the grey wheels and second shot.
That red is too pinkish to me and I would think a girl drove that bird but I understand why you are doing it so I mean its really whatever you want to end up looking at everyday that you go outside to start up your car. The gray stripes look cool too
I also dont like super flashy either IMO.
