Default Tuning.

Can i do my own Custom Tuning with a DS Trinity?
If so to what degree?
Obviously it wouldn't be a dyno tune.. (doesnt get here for another couple months yet.. The dyno i mean)

Just thinking enough for CAI , Exhaust and 1.8 RR's. (Well to get the best from said combination)

You can find what you can do here :
http://www.diablosport.com/index.php...isplay&pid=151
and here as you would be using the U7194 software with the Trinity:
http://www.diablosport.com/index.php...display&pid=83
You can adjust and log many parameters and as for custom tuning required Lew (06montess) can really wake up your ride with his email custom service, tailored to just your car and needs. You can also have a CMR dealer/Dyno setup done and still be able to make adjustments directly from the Trinity as you wish.

can do some data logging to see where your average LTFT's are (long term fuel trims) and then make a fueling adjustment to get them into the correct range...

here's info on data logging:

http://www.diablosport.com/index.php...iewtopic&t=917

and as Ill_Born_ss mentioned, you can get full/complete custom tuning done specifically for your car, by a diablo CMR custom tuner, like myself....

here's info about the gains, and parameters you can adjust yourself using the Trinity:

So i ordered the Trinity.
Got it.
Installed the cd on my pc.
Did all the updates i could lay my hands into.

PLugged in the trinity.
Installed the software on it.

Plugged it into the car.
Key in accs postion.

Tried all 4 non stock tunes and could not get it to work.

symptoms are....

Idling up and down (900-500rpm)
LTFT's -100% on bank 2.
Smells rich.

This one is at least normal, since there is only one O2 sensor, not two like the other LS engines - we only get data for Bank 1, the open ciricut for the Bank 2 sensor is interpreted as -100

I wasn't counting the post-cat O2.

My point was that we don't have sensors that see each bank independently. Both O2's see the exhaust from both banks.
