Weighed my wheels today....

Default Weighed my wheels today....

Front 15x3.5 Weld Draglite, 165r tire, 1 spacer, 1 centercap, 5 lug nuts: 26lbs
Rear 15x8 Weld Draglite, 27x10.5 tire, 1 spacer, 1 centercap, 5 lug nuts: 35lbs

Stock 16" painted TA rim, 245/50 tire, 5 lug nuts: 45lbs

Total weight savings over stock wheels: 58lbs

Weight off the front alone: 38lbs

Good info, I've been looking for weights on those.....15x10 probably isn't too much heavier....

and 58 lbs of rotating weight is more than 58lbs of stationary weight, that could be close to a tenth, plus the reduced tread contact on the front tires helps on less resistance as well.... Good to know, maybe I'll one day weigh my Nova's wheels...

Default Convo Pro wheel & tire weights:

15x7.5 w/ 28x10 ET Drag 35 lbs.

15x10 w/ 28x11 ET Street 33 lbs.

The ET streets are a little worn. That might account for the less weight. ALl the rubber from the tire is still stick inside my wheel wells.

does anyone know what chrome 18x9.5 z06 wheels weigh? i know they are heavy, i'd just like to know
