You could do it with head bolts and head gaskets only if you wanted. I would pick up a set of water pump gaskets as well. Makes it a little less messy on draining the coolant out. The valve cover gaskets, intake gaskets and exhaust manifold gaskets are all reuseable. Let me know if you need anything. We stock it all!

It's up to you. For $140 I would do it but it is not a must. If you are doing that, you might swap to some LS2 lifter trays. They are around $30 for the pair.

With a TSP 233/239 cam what would be the difference between prc stage 2.5 5.3 and 6.0 heads

With that cam, you want the compression. A 6.0L head is going to have a 72cc chamber and drop the compression. You can go with some LS6 heads if you like since they start with a smaller 64cc chamber and can probably be milled a touch if you like. There is some more power to be made with the LS6 heads due to more airflow over the 5.3L head. Just depends on how much power you are chasing.

Thanks for all the info, One more question... Would flycutting the piston be needed with the 2.5 5.3 Heads?

Not with a 233/239 cam. It will clear fine. We can even mill them some to get a little more compression out of them while maintaining proper PTV!
