What size amp for JL 10W3v3 sub?

Either amp would work just fine. Depends on how loud you are used to having a stereo. I have never had JL products before but I think the amps provide the same power @1 ohm as they do 4 ohm so it wont matter if you use one of the JL slash amps you listed above.

Thanks man. I saw the slash amp and its $599! I wanted to keep the system on a budget. If I get their cheaper 500/1, would that not work? Sorry man I know nothing about audio lol. Trying to learn.

I have that exact Alpine setup in my Camaro - it hits pretty decent, and I can turn it up loud enough that I can't stand it, which passes my test. It replaced an MB Quart 10" with an MTX amp feeding it (something in the 300-ish watt range), and I was very pleased with the change.
