Default Still cant quickshift

Awhile back, I installed a stg 3 monster kit which included, clutch, flywheel, pilot, and slave. After proper break-in, I took the car to the track where I proceded to break the rearend and driveshaft due to a miss shift into 2nd.. I swapped rear and DS. Tranny never shifted the same. There was some resistance getting it into gear. And if the car sits for over say 8hrs, It will not go into gear. I read alot about the Tick so I picked it up. It helped a bit, but still not able to shift at high rpms. Please help

Full inspection for leaks at the master, slave and line is step one.

Drill mod needs done if it has not been already.

Bleeding: the jmd method: https://ls1tech.com/forums/13837919-post3.html

Did you check air gap and shim the slave accordingly?

Thanks for the response, I have the Tick master cylinder and I havent had to add any fluid since install so I asume theres no leaks, drill mod from what I understand is for a stock master. I bled the clutch a few time but I might try that method.
The monster didnt come with any shims, as for the air gap, I'm not familiar with that so I'll have to do some research.

if you dont have enough airgap between the flywheel, and clutch disc when you depress the clutch pedal, it will not let the input spin freely, preventing nice clean shifts, and may be hard going into gear, grinding on shifts, or not be able to shift at all.

Thanks guys. The thing that is bothering me is that everything was fine before I broke rearend and DS.

The Tick unit comes with its own line that is not restricted like the stock line

I doubt this is a clutch problem, and the Monster clutches do not use shims. Sounds like you may have done damage to the tranny when the DS and rear end let go.

Also when the aftermarket clutch disk gets heavier, shifts will be a bit slower because it takes a bit longer for the heavier disk to slow (inertia) when the syncros are trying to match speeds of gears in the tranny between shifts.

My Spec 3+ is nearly 2 pounds heavier than the stock disk and it slightly impacted the speed and ease of shifts whether shifting slow or fast. Also the blocker rings have to work harder to match speeds between shifts with the heavier disk so if the blockers are not working correctly, shifting will be slower.
