Default Just another 1988 Mustang Lx with an LSx swap

Whats going on guys? Just wanted to start my build thread and share some pics with you guys.

Build is a 1988 Mustang Lx hatch, with and LSx drivetrain. It will have a stock Lq4 for now. Behind that will be a 4l60E with a shift kit and servo, Along with a YANK 4000 stall. I will be pretty much be rebuilding the whole car, Suspension, Roll cage, etc. This is not a race car tho, I will be driving this car on the street with the occasional trip to the track. All the work is being done by Cal Speed and performance here in Bakersfield, CA.

My goals are mid 11s with stock Lq4, When I want more I will be throwing in a cam and some Nitrous..

Here are some pics of when I picked her up, Before paint..

Strippin it down for paint..

After paint:

I dont have the time, Knowledge or skill to do so. Somethings I will do, But most will be done by them. Its about a $1000 to pull an engine out and put the other in.

A bit off the topic, but what wheels are those? They're not a style I recognize.

You know what I am not really sure, They are the wheels that came with the car. I will be running a different wheel setup.
