Default camshafts and smog

what camshafts have u guys used and still passed smog? or whats the largest u can get away? without paying a buddy. to pass u.

any cam that has no more than -4* of overlap.

i was wondering if something like a texas speed 220/220 .581 .581 at 114 would work? maybe even 116?

if im not mistaken i believe the highest is a 224R with a good tune..

where are you located? if there is a good tuner in your area 224s will pass just fine.

rumor has it someone got a 228r to pass once but i dont put much faith in that

yeah theres a few tuners around my area. i want to stay stealthy as well so i like the 220 texas speed i just wanted to make sure someone got it through without a problem?

A 220/220 on a 114 should easily pass.

My truck passed fine. I did a motor swap to a 6.0 , heads, headers,true duals, cam is a .590, 226, on a 116. Synergy did the tune and I also live in the Bay Area. As much stuff that I did on my truck I thought I was going to have problems smoggin it. I did a ton of research and got a lot of good feedback and advise from guys on the forum.
