Top 5 tuners in dfw??
Who are the top tuners in dfw and I'd like to hear some examples both good and bad. Have to get a tune soon and considering extreme horsepower since theY did my short block but want the best.

i had a horrible experience at 21st century. 3 hours to retune for a simple l/t install and the car ran like complete **** when i left, bad surging and idle all over the place. john was being a dick about it saying that i had done something wrong. well *******, it wasn't running like this until your idiot tuner touched it.
took the car to matt at snl (this was before matt even worked there) and haven't looked back.
i really don't know anything about extreme.

Oh, and GSS offers a money-back guarantee if you aren't satisfied with your tune. So on top of being one of the best tuners in the area, there's a guarantee that comes with it.
It's a no-risk tune.

True Street
Have used several in the area in the past few years, I would highly recommend Sean over at True Street in Mckinney, they are open saturdays, and charge a very fair price and stand behind their work no questions asked. Sean was LG's top/only tuner for many years until recently when he ventured into a new shop up in Mckinney.

You sure about that?
Louis Gigliotti, owner of GSS Speed Shop, formerly from LG is the one that tuned my turbo truck. Sean called Louis because he couldn't get the tune right.
I'm not saying anything about whether or not Sean can tune. He obviously has his fans. But to say he was LG's "top/only" tuner isn't the case.

Sorry, didnt mean to overstep my opinions, im sure there is a lot to the story that is being left out as always in these sorts of debates, i was merely making a suggestion for someone who asked a question. I dont question that Louis has some abilities for tuning, but i do know that Sean did most of the tuning at LG for a long time, sometimes with Louis help and sometimes not. There are always 2 sides to the story, im sure both tuners have their strong points. Also on a side note, if the case was turned around and Louis needed help with a tune that was giving him a hard time, would he call Sean for advise or just wing it, instead of trying to get his customer the best possible tune.????? Thats just the kind of person and tuner Sean is... Once again this is all derived from my own personal opinions. By the way hows the truck runnin nowadays Moze, havent seen it around lately?

Absolutely - wasn't trying to start anything and I'm not the least bit interested in arguing with anyone.
Sean can obviously tune or he wouldn't have people recommending him. He's helped me on his personal time on more than one occasion so I know he's willing to go above and beyond to help.
Anyway, I sold the truck last January and I miss the crap out of it. Word on the street is that the guy that bought it turned up the boost from 12psi (which was Louis's tune/recommended limit for a daily driver which never gave me a single problem) up to 14 or 15psi and broke it. I got a lifted Nissan Titan and drove that for a year. Sold that a couple of weeks ago and am picking up an '05 CTS-V today.
