should i add rockers to my setup???
Ok so here is my setup 232/236 .590 lift comp cam with dual valve springs that can handle up to 660 lift. Chromoly pushrods 7.4, LS7 lifters I have TSP stage 1 heads. I have the stock rockers on now. Should i stay with the stock rockers or what do you guys recommend? Car has about 435Hp how much would i gain from rockers?

My advice is for you to stick with stock rockers and get the trunion upgrade for them. Their available from Texas speed already done to them or you can buy the kit yourself and install the trunion upgrade yourself. There I think around 230?Maybe?...Also, make sure you measure your pushrod length with an adjustable pushrod length checker to be sure you still need 7.4.

If your heads have bronze valve guides, most aftermarket heads do, the wipe pattern on the valve tip from the rocker arm will wear out the guides. Roller rockers can be adjusted with shims to center the wipe pattern and make it narrow.

when I said 25 hp i was for some reason thinking he was going from 1.7s to 1.85s. Idk why. I guess i read another post with that. but stock geometry is spot on. Its the safest bet unless youre getting into some serious stuff
