Bait car!!

Bait car!! Today the police parked a bait car in front of my house for 4 hours(no takers) Talked with the cop later and they said they have had a few nibbles and arrests in the last week about 2 blocks from me near an apartment complex. Im in wells branch and it wasnt a GM product as bait *nod nod wink wink*. Sneaky guys also, they all parked around the corner and had a guy in a pick up truck about 2 houses down watching.

They need to do that over here at the Domain. We've had several cars broken into, and just last week they stole a truck with a bike in the back of it. Pretty ballsy bastards.

Im in the apartments where they had the car last week. I actually though it was a ploy because they had huge signs telling everyone "bait car in the area". I honestly cant believe people got caught messing with it. I've lived in this area for 4-5 years and have never heard of a car getting broken into or even any hint of mischief. But I do park where I can see my car and within range of my AR15. If anything I'd scare the **** out of someone LOL.
Although my car got broken into at the Golds gym over on palmer lane near the HEB. Just an fyi dont go to that gym when its dark and iof you must, park in front of the building only. After my car was broken into the employees were all like "yea it happens all the time here". One of the managers said they didnt post any warning because they didnt want to scare away customers. Even the cop that wrote the report said break ins there were common. So much so that he said at the end of shifts a cop usually sits there and does his paper work before heading to the station. Which I actually noticed but never put 2 and 2 together. Anyways I quit going to that one.
