I am running a A1000 pump and A1000 bypass regulator. It pegs my gauge at 80psi And will not turn down. This is how it's set up. Any help would be great. THANKS

What size lines are you using?
Where are the filters?
How is the return line connected to the tank? Where on the tank?
Have you tried another gauge?
Where is the gauge plumbed into the system?
Are the parts new?
What kind of hose and fittings are you using?

The lines are -8. The filter is in the back of the car next to the pump. The return line is connected to the top of the tank from the regulator with AN fittings, The regulator is brand new and so is the gauge. The gauge is on the regulator, The first gauge would peg on 60 thats as high as the guage would go. The lines are aluminum and braided lines with all AN fittings.

How is the return hooked to the top of the tank?
From what U R reporting, it sounds like there's a return restriction.
I have seen the hose liner come loose and block flow. Did you flush the lines B4 installing them?
A quiky test: Take a piece of hose, plumb it in place of the return at the reg, run it to a fuel jug. Turn on the pump. PSI now where it should be? Can you adjust it?
Yes= return line problem[s].
No= bad reg.

What kind of fuel tank are you using? Is there a regulator in the tank like the F-Body setup has?

Thanks old geezer i will double check the return line 2moro. @ SS1 the tank is a stock 1970 chevelle gas tank.

Thanks Old Geezer it was in the return line. I fixed the problem and it will now adjust.
