I seen this in a SuperChevy mag recently.

We use them on aircraft every day. very nice and expensive.

Have put together thousands of different Molex connectors. They are known for simplifying installations and helping with wire management.

Your hard drive power connector is even a molex connector.

Like Tim says, expensive and work well.

Those are typical of military connectors, like the others have said. Tyco makes a similar product, but is plastic, CPC, circular plastic connector.

I thought about it because I saw the Detroit Speed guys using them years ago - until I realized how much they cost. I may revisit them on a different build, but the projects I've done so far I couldn't justify the budget. ...but man do they look sharp!

We use those on our airborne radars.

McMaster Carr sells those connectors, prices don't look too outrageous. The 13 amp per connector rating would prevent them from being used for everything on a car. Probably need to mix these with just a couple higher amp rated connectors.

MMC's web site seems to have plenty of other options.
