Cracked right at the dome of the gauge cluster and air bag. Anyone work at a dealer whose dealt with this before. Read some story bout it happening to alot of people. Some got lucky and got the dealer to cover it and some well just out of luck. Just wondering what's going on now. I'm at bout 74k now. I should of reported it back when I noticed it 20k miles ago. When it was barely noticable. Anyone else ever had this happen?

yeah we get them in all the time at the dealership, you should probably just take it in and see if you can get a dealer to goodwill it. you might get lucky

this happened to my friends 07 yukon, the dealer fixed it, it was covered under warranty.

the only ones we ever see like that are the ones that shine for armour all or whatver else gloss product...
if i were you id wipe dpwn the dash with alcohol or whatever it takes to make it look dull and they will probably goodwill it, they may also charge you like $100 deductable for helping you out.

I don't even use armor all but I'm sure they did when I bought it. I hate the way armor all attracts dust like crazy.

Mine cracked on my 07 tahoe that was 3k miles out of warranty and took it to the dealer where I bought it and showed them where it had cracked. Which was in the exact two places where yours did. Talk to the service manager and he went ahead and replaced at their cost.

this is a very common problem with the 07 yukon's/tahoe's gm wont do a recall because it doesnt cause a safety issue. a bunch of bs, i think

I have an 07 that we just bought, it has 34000 miles on it and is out of warranty and has this exact problem. Wonder what I should do.
