Window molding for the drivers side door!
Its the piece right about the door on the window! And Im really not sure how to fix this piece, if anyone can help please doo!

Im doing this molding right now cuz I think someone actually ripped it out trying to break in... these clips are driving me INSANE... if anyone has any helpful advise as to getting these back in let me know lol

Its called a belt molding. thats something you have to buy directly from GM.
you have to remove the mirror, and then the mirror bracket (2 bolts and a nut below it) then it just slides in. install the bracket and then the mirror again.
note: you have to remove the door panel

I ended up getting it. The clips behing the mirror were still intact so I didn't take the mirror off. I did take the door panel off tho. The only time the window will touch that molding is with the window up and the door shut. I put the window up and there was a uge gap and I was like wtf... then I shut the door and it was all good.

After doing my window adjustment to get rid of the window rattle, I continued to get a slight water leak on the drivers side. I think the sideview mirror corner has deformed the weather stripping and has caused a pit. I tracked the leak to there. My passanger door has a much bigger leak and I think its the same pit cause by the sideview mirror touching on the weather stripping when the door is closed. I might try silicone and if that doesn't work, time for new parts.
