Continental ExtremeContact DW Tires??
Need to get new tires soon and I was originally planning on getting the Michelin Pilot PS2s but i just dont have the thousand dollars to drop on them right now. On tirerack i was looking at the continental extremecontact dw tires and they have amazing reviews and they are pretty cheap does anyone run these tires? or know anything about them? What other tires would you recommend for DD that grip well and im not looking to get Drag Radials.

They are a wonderful tire but there was one thing that kept me from buying them for my BMW a few months ago. A few too many complaints about a soft sidewall. That bothered me. I have had such great durable experiences with the Goodyear F1 A/S tires that I bought them again despite road noise once the tires wear past the 50% mark. I have Goodyear F1 GS-D3's on my T/A. Incredible but they wear fast.

You get what you pay for in most instances. Nitto has some 'age' issues and tramlining past the 50% mark. No thanks, but fine choice for the 'short term' (or for selling) if that is all you want. With your nice 28,000 miles sweet Formula, you need to get a tire it deserves. A few hundred 'extra' dollars is tough to lay out but so many unexpected things in life 'bite you in the rear end' that sometimes it is worth laying out the bucks for something so important for you and your ride. Think about it.
