Call me crazy, but I am sure the rest of the interior and hatch can stay on the car! LOL. Looks like you have a big project about to go down for it. Good Luck!

LOL.

That's more like "remove car from fuel tank" than remove fuel tank from car.

C'mon man, no need for all this, if you can help him great if you can't don't say anything.. We were all new and had to learn the hard way at one time..

Op, there is an easier way to do it but not all of us would like to cut a trap door into our cars. Search for trap doors to help you some...

HAHA! I know exactly who you mean. I got that mod done to mine as well, I couldn't believe they were that lazy, they cut my trunk into 5 pieces and then duct taped it back together...

If some of you guys haven't noticed, most of the rear end of that car is missing (cut off, maybe a rearended parts car?), so its probably a joke? lol

LOL @ this thread, I seriously doubt he was really having an issue getting the tank out. Look at the car; it is beat up/Wrecked and 1/2 the interior is pulled out...

LOL right? I just found it funny because I can relate, with having a shop cut out almost the entire fuel tank area to replace the pump.

It was a bear of a job getting the one out on my 3rd gen, but that was with the steel tank and filler neck, you LS1 peeps have nothing to complain about!

Although sometimes I have thought about cutting my 4th gen chassis in half to do plugs...

LS1 spark plugs are quick and easy, LT1 are time consuming though....

Man, let's not get started on that! In my C4 they were bad enough, can't imagine messing with the LT1 ignition in the 4th gen body!

why struggle, go through the bottom

the right tools make things easier, no need to make it difficult with contraptions "trying" to allegedly make it easier

headers make it easier, but even with manifolds it isn't too bad
