im putting 275/40/18 all around on my SS....as the title says..would the front rub?

No! Just as long as backspacing is good

My 285/35R18 rub just a little in the front on the plastic fender liner.... but it has never caused a problem and only rubs with the wheel turned to where it hit the liner.

i cant speak much on the 18's but i have 275/35/17 on the front and am lowered and no ribbing here....

There are autocross guys that run 17x11s on all four corners so I mean. Anything is possible

275/35/18 is almost the same size diameter as the stock tires are(25.6" vs 25.7"), I would go with those instead. A 275/40/18 is an inch taller than the stock tires, so the chance of rubbing would be a lot higher. I think they should still fit, but I would go with the stock height myself.
