Intake Manifold Step by Step Removal There may be some forum members that wonder if they have the ability to remove their intake manifold and throttle body themselves. Most DIY weekend mechanics can do this in an hour or less.

Yes, that's correct. As much as we would like to port your LS6 Intake Manifold, I want you to know up front that there are very little, if any, horsepower gains from porting that particular manifold. You will notice a difference in throttle response from having your throttle body ported, however.
Cost to do both is $300. Cost for just your throttle body is $100 with the current special.
