Default any M6 guys spraying a 150 wet shot from the hole?

im interested in hearing what drivetrain you're running (rearend, gears, driveshaft, clutch, slicks/DR's), and how it's holding up. thanks!

Was running a 175 wet shot out of the hole. Next weekend I'll hopefully be trying out the 200-shot dry kit out of the hole.

Drivetrain consists of SPEC Stage 3 Carbon Clutch w/stock hydraulics (no drill mod), Stock T56 Transmission, 3.5" Aluminum Driveshaft from Madman, Moser 9" w/4.11 gears & Posi, 28x10.5x15 Mickey Thompson ET Drags. (I Think I'm running a little too much tire, I probably should've gone with a 28x9x15 ET Drag instead)

Suspension consists of HAL Adjustables w/stock springs all around, BMR Trak-Pack Torque Arm, Madman Billet Aluminum LCA's and PHR.

I've spayed a progressive 200 shot out of the hole about (150 initial ramped up over .7 sec). Launching at 5800-6200

Stock T56, Ram W/910 disk, Denny's nitrous ready D/S, Moser 12-bolt 4.11's W/Full Spool. I run Goodyear 28x10x15 slicks (1.455 60ft) and 28x12.5x15 Et streets (1.52).

My suspension is pretty basic, Hal's all the way around, BMR LCA's, Long torque arm, airbag in RR spring.

Be carfull if you get a 12-bolt stay away from the eaton posi, I fragged mine as soon as i got traction. A lot of others have as well.

Sorry Donate
What do you mean fragged how is the full spool in bad weather or do you not drive it.

I was able to cut a 1.44 sixty foot with my Eaton posi and 26" ET street 26x11.5x15. But I am now going to a spool as well because I am adding 28" ET drags and 4.11s. I have sprayed a 200 shot out of the whole at 5500 rpm. Next time out will be a 300+ shot out of the hole with the ET drags. That 33 spline posi is about $500 and I dont want to destroy it.

Other items are all BMR suspension. MOser 12 bolt with 33 spline axles.

Keep us posted on how that carbon clutch holds. My gut says it won't be long until you're shopping around for a ceramic. But I'm just curious. Reason being, a friend of mine had one, but it went out on him after he heated it up during a burnout.

My drivetrain is similar to these guys - Ram VDS/910, Denny's NR DS, Moser 12-bolt/33/Spool, 28x10.5 ET Drags, 4.56 gears. 1.48 60' NA, 1.45 on a weak 100 shot. My front bumper support is gone, my battery is relo'd, and I have tubular stuff up front... with Hal's on 2 or 3, I can pull the front wheels about a foot, NA. (video is in the Drag Racing section)

My Eaton posi lasted right at 2 years of good abuse. Then it started 1-wheel burnouts. I replaced it before it really broke.

Man, I think you are lucky. I've seen guys grenade the rear with less abuse than that. I'll be spraying second because traction will be an issue. Between shifting a spraying I'll have some busy hands.

I broke the spider gears in it. The spool is fine in the rain, don't know about snow but i would think it would be the the same as a good tight posi.

It's already been said really, but I sprayed 175 out of the hole w/ ET Streets once and didn't catch any traction til half way through 2nd gear. I was launching at about 5200. I'm switching to the shifter handle button for 2nd gear activation.

I have sprayed the 150 shot out of the hole many many times and I have the stroker to go with it.

Moser 12 bolt with Eaton Posi 4.10 gears still kickin , 33 spline axles
Stock T-56, Cartek Clutch and Cartek Master cylinder
Spohn Race Version Torque arm, BMR tubular LCA's and all stocks shocks and springs that are holding fine. Believe it or not I still have the stock rear sway bar on there too. I know it's probably been flexing like crazy but it's still holding.

Oh yeah and I was running a stock steel DS that I swapped my aluminum one for to a buddy.

Best 60' to date on the setup was 1.41 and yes it lifted both front wheels and that was at a 3700lb race weight.

I am almost finished with a 200-4R conversion and am looking for 1.3's
