Default Not Sure What To Do

I have a stock bottom end LT1 93 Trans Am. Transmission (TH-700R4) has been built to the hilt (Kevlar/Ceramic) with a Hughes competition torque converter with 2200 stall. Suspension reworked, and getting ready to put a Moser 9inch in rear with 3.75 gear ratio True-Trac. FMU has been changed out and the top end houses a ported intake with 58mm TB, 32# injectors, ram air (for now), and ceramic coated hooker headers (wrapped) flowing to a no catalytic Magna Flow Racing muffler. I'm wanting to put a D1SC with twin high flow intercooler on it, but have been told to forge internals and put a different cam in it. Not sure what to go with? I asked ATI and Summit and they said check the forums. I'm looking to get 700-900 HP outta motor with supercharger, if possible. Any advice is helpful, thank you. I've even thought of taking to Brute Speed in Indiana.

700 to 900 hp is alot. Your gona a whole new setup to reach that hp. As in forged bottem, good set heads, tranny, stall, injectors, etc etc..

That's a very lofty goal. Why so concerned about a hp rating? For that kind of power figure on spending about $15-$20k. That tranny won't last for those kind of power levels and the stall won't hold up eithe, and it's a little on the small side.

That's kind of interesting to me too. Might as well be stock.

You need to completely rethink your course of action to achieve your goals because you are very far off.

Sorry, tranny has been rebuilt to handle more abuse. Went with 2200 stall because I haven't really done anything to engine and still need to drive on street for now until motor rebuild. When I pull engine I will replace with a higher stall converter.

Checked out some of the info and your videos were badass. How does that drive on the street with the 4000 stall? I'm looking to forge the bottem end and put a set of heads on mine, the AI appear to do their work. Any suggestions on setup? I want to keep stock block without stroking. Again, great vids.

Eh, just strap an F3R on it, and of course, spray it.

Thanks for the compliments. To be honest if I had to do it all over again, I'd do nothing different, just read my thread if you want specifics, or ask. The 4000 stall drives great. If I didn't have another vehicle to drive, I would have no problem daily driving the car. The relatively low gearing and the Performabuilt make it a pleasure to drive on the street. I drive it 40 highway miles to the track, make 5 or 6 passes, and drive it home - far from a trailer queen.

Since you want to keep the stock bottom end though, I think the AI 200cc heads would be a great fit for you if your budget allows. Guys are really moving with their stuff. But if you're on more of a budget the LE stuff is good too.
